The Unmuted Intuitive
The Unmuted Intuitive, a podcast dedicated to the art of **Into Me I See**.
I’m not here to tell you what your gut is saying or give you vague "love and light" affirmations. I’m here to talk about the patterns we repeat, the reflections we try to avoid, and the inconvenient truths that live underneath our relationships and our lives.
As an intuitive reader, I don't just see the "vibe"...I see the framework. This is about the "holy shit" moments of self-reflection, the weird dynamics we play out in love, and the quiet bravery it takes to actually look at yourself without a filter.
If you’re tired of the preachy spiritual lectures and you’re ready for a grounded, slightly spicy, and deeply human look at how we operate, you’re in the right place.
**Into Me I See.** Because you can’t change what you aren’t willing to look at.

Intuition is one of those things people either overcomplicate or completely ignore. But it's actually really, really simple. It shows up in real time, in small moments, and especially in the way you experience people. So let's talk about what it actually is, how to hear it clearly, and how it plays out in your everyday life. So one thing about intuition, it's very, very, very subtle. Um, depending on how you tend to hear it. Some people are a little more open to listening to their intuition, and some people may not be, so it kind of goes over their head a little bit, right? But I know one big talking point that I hear a lot is how do you know the difference between intuition and anxiety? So uh let me tell you something about anxiety. Anxiety will wear you out. Anxiety stays with you, it makes mountains out of mohills. It you physically feel so chaotic in your body, you stay in your mind when it's anxiety, it creates stories and pictures, and it's if especially if you're an anxious person, it just keeps going and going and going and going and going. That is not intuition. Intuition is actually very, very, very subtle. Um, it's you walking into the store, and it crosses your mind like maybe I don't want this, and it's so subtle, most of the time people don't pay attention to it, and they come to find out you ordered whatever you ordered, you ate it, you got sick. It's it's so soft sometimes. Now, I've had situations and I've spoken to people who had situations where they're about to do something and they hear, no, don't do it, or don't go. Intuition can do that too, but it doesn't do it like that very often. It tends to mask itself as a thought, a thought that you think that you came up something with, you think it's something that you came up with, is something that you think you're telling yourself. Um, and it's actually it's it is, but it's your higher self trying to to guide you in a different direction. Now, me, I've always been very tapped in. Um, even as a child, even it I didn't realize that's what it was. You know, it's one of those things where you don't know what you don't know. And especially if you're a kid and you're getting information and and you're getting images and you know, all of those things, you think that's normal, right? You think everybody can do that. Um, and and you think that's just your brain kind of just like an overload. Um, so a good example of this would be I use a personal story. I remember I was younger, I was in high school, and my friend had met this guy. She was talking to him, like over the phone, you know, how we used to do way back when, and they decided to meet up one day, and she was nervous about meeting up with him by herself. Um, it was a public place, but she wanted um a few of us to go with her so she's not alone. And he brought a couple of his friends too. So we get to the it was uh we met at a McDonald's, um, and we were supposed to be meeting like in the parking lot or something. And we see them, they're kind of like outside, and we're like walking towards them, and she's like pointing out uh which one was the guy that she was talking to. And so as we get closer to them, the one that she was talking to, she went over to him, she gave him a hug and everything, and she kind of introduced us to him, and he kind of he looked at us and he waved. And when I tell you, the most horrid feeling went through my whole entire body, it was so bad. It was almost like he spoke to me, and I just felt evil brush past my face. It was the creepiest thing ever, and it was so creepy. I didn't know what it was, I didn't know what it meant. I didn't even take it as a warning because I told myself that it was something that I'm I did, right? Like, like, why did why did why do I think he's evil? Like, I completely brushed it off. So, of course I didn't, and it and it passed by, right? Like it happened, it passed by, and everything was normal after that. It wasn't even a lingering thing. So cut to they, you know, maybe three years later, like they're well, not really three years later. So basically, they started, they became official, so like their boyfriend and girlfriend, and when I tell you, he put her through the absolute wringor, like he was so manipulative, so mean, so cold-hearted, and I always thought back to that moment when I first met him, and it was so weird because it was like, how did I pick that up from him just by looking in his eyes? Now, everybody is not like everybody has intuition, everybody's intuitive, but some people are a little more sensitive than others. I happen to be one of those people that's very sensitive. So even if I'm not intentionally trying to tap in, I'm going to pick up information. Um, but that's a good example of how intuition can hit you. It can be fast, it can be out of nowhere, it can feel like a passing thought. And we tend to ignore it because a lot of times when we think of intuition and our God or our spirit guides or our higher self trying to deliver us a message, we expect it to be like this big letter and this big book, and we expect to see signs and we expect to hear them. And if it's not that, then we're not getting the message, and that couldn't be the furthest thing from the truth. Now, why is intuition so quiet when anxiety and everything else is so much louder? Well, because a lot of times it's coming from something internal within us, so it will be positioned as our own thoughts, it would be positioned as something that we came up with because ultimately it is coming from like to us from a part of us that's connected to something bigger than us, and I hope that that makes sense. So it doesn't necessarily have to have a different voice, it doesn't necessarily have to have um a long script of what it is that is telling you to do or not to do. So in order to listen to our intuition, we have to get really good at paying attention to subtle things. And is it annoying? Absolutely, and I say it's annoying because I really used to hate hearing people say things like, oh, just follow your intuition. Like it's just that simple. You can't follow your intuition if you can't recognize it, right? You can't follow something that you don't see or notice. So we have to get really good at paying attention to our thoughts in general, because when you pay attention to your thoughts, your everyday moments, then hearing your intuition gets a little easier. And this is especially true for people who have a lot of anxiety. This is especially true for people who are overthinkers who are always in their head, because there's always voices in their head, so things obviously would get kind of like mixed in together. But for example, let's say you have a date, a blind date coming up uh with a guy, and you're in your head, what should I wear? Do I like him? Should we go here? I don't know if I want to go to that place to eat. Should I wear this outfit? Well, he's kind of a red flag because he's inconsistent with the texting, but he did say he wanted to go out. Like, this is like constant, right? Like in your mind, and in the midst of all of that, your intuition may be telling you, don't go. But you can't hear it because it's mixed up with every other thought that you have going on in your mind. So, so you're you're you're overlooking it, you're bypassing it, and you're still going in your head. Like, what am I gonna order when we go out? Should I do my hair like this? I don't really like what he said to me the other day. Maybe I shouldn't go, but no, I'm gonna still go. So your intuition is in the midst of all of that, but it's so muffled with everything else going on in your mind, you're like overlooking it, right? But think about it. If you took the opportunity to kind of slow down for a minute and pay attention to your thoughts, just stop for a minute and think about what's been going through your mind for the past five minutes. Your outfit, where you're going, if you even like the guy, what you should order. Are you gonna have time to do your hair? Maybe you shouldn't go. Oh, I didn't really like the text that he sent. I'm not even really that hungry. Maybe we should go somewhere else. Two red flags popped in that you didn't notice. Because so many other thoughts was overriding it. Now, do I say that to say every time you experience a red flag, you should cut everybody off? I'm not one of those people. Um, I do think that I mean, unless there's a major red flag, like your life is in danger or you're at risk of being hurt or something like that. Um, I do think that if you still have questions, experience the experience because that's another way for you to kind of work that muscle and hear your intuition better. But aside from that, if you slow down for a second and think about the past five minutes and all the thoughts that came through your mind, twice you kind of heard that you there's a part of you that didn't want to go, there's a part of you that didn't want to do it, there's a part of you that feels like you're not gonna like him, and so you do go out, you do sit down, you do be with them, and you could go on several dates with them, right? It could turn into a couple of months that you're talking or dating or whatever, and whatever those things were that you didn't like, they probably stayed consistent. And then this is how we get into these one-year, two-year, five-year relationships, and they don't work out, and then we kick ourselves because we say the writing was on the wall, I should have followed my intuition. You couldn't because you couldn't hear it. So that's a really good exercise to try slowing down and think about the past few things that's been on your mind. Every 30 minutes or so, slow down, like do this as an exercise. Every 30 minutes or so, slow down, think about the last five minutes, the the last five minutes of thoughts that you've had about whatever the situation is, and play them out. Play them out because the ones that's anxiety and the ones that are little messages, little pings, little nudges are gonna feel different, but you have to slow down enough to pay attention to it. And I usually, when I'm doing readings with clients, I do suggest um little exercises like that because they get easier as you go, but you usually have to kind of like start somewhere and practice somewhere, and when it comes to anxiety and intuition, very rarely is your intuition gonna be as loud as your anxiety. That's just not how it works. Um, so what you have to do is get better at noticing it. In closing, intuition and anxiety do not feel the same once you really start to pay attention. One is clear, quick, and doesn't need to argue with you. The other one keeps going, keeps questioning, keeps pulling you back into your head. So next time something comes up, do not rush to figure it out. Just notice what you felt first. That's usually where the truth is.
